I wanted a Duplimate, but am an idiot with computers and not
too excited about dealing with foreign companies, so I asked
Harold Jordan to set me up with a turnkey operation. He did the
ordering, walked the Duplimate through customs and set it up.
He then delivered it to my location and instructed me in how to
use it. He made the purchase and installation a pleasure.
I've had a couple occasions where I needed service, and Harold
could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful...he had me
back up and running within 24 hours. We had almost no downtime.
I cannot say enough good things about Harold, personally or
professionally. I would encourage anyone to trust him completely.

Running a duplicate game in a 3 hour window prevents our group
from “making hands” for special events. When I decided to run Charity
Games with lots of masterpoints to award, I wanted to even the field
with pre-dealt hands. Duplimate was the answer. It’s wonderful, the new
and the experienced players have been improving with the aid of hand
records as they study them with their partner.
Many ways to use the machine including lessons or a Barometer game!
When I run a game with ACBL hand records, I just email the club department
and they send me the hands electronically for Duplimate. What a time saver!
Purchasing the machine was such a pleasant experience. Harold not only
helped me with Duplimate, he pre-stickered boards and inserted the cards,
and answered all my questions while I was “disconnected” during hurricane
Wilma. And again, Harold to the rescue when I got my new computer and
couldn’t get my printer to work. You are a gem and very helpful with the
correct information to fix the problems I encountered with new equipment.
I find myself to be quite popular now since when hired for a “special
bridge event” I can offer hand records, a fun afternoon and an even field.

We have now had our duplimate machine for three years (purchased and received
December 2004). We run 10 sets of boards through the machine weekly and have serviced
four regionals with up to 104 sets of boards each. We also service multiple sectionals
with 8-12 sets of boards each. Other than an initial loose pin and rubber belts breaking
(only twice in three years), the machine has worked without flaw. With experience, we are
now able to duplimate a set of 36 boards in 7 minutes. The cards have required replacement
only once during the three years, with the new set having at least another year’s life
left in them.
Questions and problems have received attention without delay. Routine maintenance has been
performed quickly, never disrupting our weekly need for boards.
